Regardless, you'd have to cast it several times to make is somewhat effective in holding back enemies.

Can it at least pleeeease be reversed to it's orignal state?

Grease has not been modified.

I've seen it knockdown NPCs/PCs before. I don't know it doesn't always seem to work but I believe it's an issue with persistent worlds in some way as I know other popular servers have similar issues (as with cloud of bewilderment not firing every round, etc.)

I just tested 30 seconds ago, and was able to knock down zombies just fine. It's possible seagulls don't have a KD animation.

Believe it or not, the AI has a way of 'cheating' when it is knocked down. I've noticed that sometimes, when a monster is chasing an ally, and I knock it down, the monster still follows the character even after successfully being knocked down. And sometimes, the monster plays the 'fallen down' emote every now and then when they are chasing the character when I presumably knocked them down. I find it both funny, and very annoying at the same time.

The same bug with the AI may hold true with the grease spell.

You should stop comparing druids to other classes for questing, where in fact they can be as useable as any other wand proficient, medium ab class. Their great strength is how they, with the right preparation, can in PvP utterly wreck any opponent in the wilderness.

Let me give you an example.

Magister, Garem, and someone else are off to a quest.

Two of them spellguard associates.

I have one level 8 druid.

I subdue one, get another near death, and give Vandermark a run for his money.

I technically lost, but the purpose was fullfilled.

One druid

Versus a three man questing group averaging around level 6-7.

Food for thought.

Grease works, and as i'm playing one of my alt-druids for the moment, i must say: geez this class is a really nice addition to a group, and can also stand it's ground in solo. And my PC is very far from one of my usual powerbuilds. No need to tweak it, imo, unless it's to lessen the powers.
