Dwarf Fortress Bug?

Hey, because we are set to tier 1 again there is some type of new merchant in the hold. I think it is suppose to sell us goods but at this moment It won't even allow me to talk to it. I don't know if it is men't to sell stuff or not, but at the moment it isn't allowing anyone to.

I tried to fix this. Can you or anyone else from Dwarf Fortress go check out if it is working as intended right now?
