Dark lake bridge transition

I noticed one of the clickable bridges will just port you back towards the Bridge. I was chasing someone and I IG only didn't catch up to them because the bridge ported me backwards.

Using WASD on transitions like that one will activate the transition again. Use your mouse to click an area past the transition until you are outside the transition area and then you can use WASD to move again. Happens with many transitions.
