Such lofty goals

;)

Random_White_Guy

1) Get back to my roots. So much of my fun in EFU came from the survivalistic aspect and on so many PCs I find myself having difficulty motivating myself to recruit anymore. I genuinely love getting involved in affairs and helping people experience EFU from my perspective (aka the Minecart Ride from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom where zipping around screaming fighting praying not to die in a wild ride). However recruiting people is something that has just become somewhat tedious for me. I'm not sure if I need to re-evaluate how my PCs pursue their goals, how they push affairs, or otherwise but it's a matter to consider.

2) Bring the thunder back to Nature. This isn't disparaging of any current nature PCs but I feel like Nature on EFU is at its best when it's fang and claw, thunder and lightning, burning the settlement and razing hell. Unleashing plagues upon Lower. Obliterating portions of the Machine in land slides. Blood-sacrifices of uppersmen to swarm Upper with vampire bats. Nature is such a great facet for Criminal-type/antagonistic PCs and while I don't always have the patience for it I really would quite love to see the fire brought once more. For the word Wildling to stop being synonymous with "Those damn wildlings" and more with "OH GOD IT IS THOSE DAMN WILDLINGS".

3) Bloodmage. It's my literal white whale. I've applied for it more times in EFU history than any other of my applications, I love Sorcerous Roleplay and the idea of both mutation by magic and cabals and ultimately I love the idea of a PC putting it on the line hard for ambition. Risking everything you are and have worked for at a glimpse of immortality and touching true power to make moves, wreak havoc, and bring the thunder.

[hide=So I guess that means]
Sometime in 2015 I'm going to be making a Talosian-styled Nature-Mage seeking Bloodmage who recruits a mass cabal of nature oriented figures and druids. Perhaps a rival stewards circle or attempting to join the Stewards and struggle for control amongst it away from the traditionally hands off, quiet, and overlooked NPCs of the faction. Raising hell for upper and lower with fire and brimstone and natural disasters as my druidic legions decimate your rothe herds and my loyal barbarians lay waste to your caravans, canal, and so on.

Which frankly could be a pretty fun concept :D[/hide]

  • Get dumpstered by Hound
  • Get dumpstered by Tala
  • Don't get dumpstered by RwG
  • Improve at PvP Unrealistic, who am I kidding?
On a more serious note
  • Be brave, take more risks, take better risks
  • Learn to accept and even appreciate consequences, internalize it
  • Be less resistant to changing my PCs due to influence by other PCs

Pup

Quote from: Pup;420997Our very good friend VP asked for '3' resolutions, so leave the weak-sauce.

Also, my answers were in no-way ironic or sarcastic.  I mean it.  Can't promise, but mean it.

Wow.  Failed 6 hours into 2015.  Embarrassing.
"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whisky, and 14 karat gold?"
"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph."

"Maybe there's just one revolution.  The good guys against the bad guys.  The question is, who are the good guys?"

If I start something, stay with it until the end, no matter how frustrating it gets.

Maintain a better standard for my roleplay, and expand what types of characters I can and can't play.

Manage to get a PRC class approved and earned IG.

A good one for everyone, I rate.

Vlaid

1) Complain less
2) Spend more time worrying about my own PC is doing to make life interesting for other players instead of what others are doing (or not doing)
3) Complain less
