Veteran Option

There was, in EfuA or M, an option once you loaded in the game world, to skip all the beginner fed ex quests and what not, and start at level 4?   Something similar would be great for those that do not need a tour of the server that takes you to every NPC you need to get situated. It would allow antagonistic pcs to jump in pretty quickly, rather then run about carrying pies. But who does not like pie??!

'course I do. You can grind rats and worms all day, or jump on a quest bandwagon, or go to a place that may be spoilerific, and farm a certain thing all day..my point is all those are mind numbing options, and at level 2, you will simply be wtfstmped if you try an push an antagonistic agenda, and these days FD perma stomped,  thus it would be great  to  NOT be lvl2 via the same option that had already existed in a previous setting. ..right???

Structural conditions will effect how players interact with the game. If it is virtually impossible for players to have a meaningful impact at low levels than they will do the only thing that lets them escape this which is grind. The game essentially is rewarding this behavior and as a roleplay server it shouldn't.

I am not saying I would personally -grind- I am saying that if you want to give players incentive to go out and plot without being wtfpwned on the first day you have to give them the confidence to do so and yes sadly largely comes down to mechanics. They have to know they have a fighting chance and it seems like they don't right now. That is what the aim of this suggestion is trying to rectify

They should be simple, free of hostility/rant and demonstrate  some understanding of how EFU:A works. Although everyone loves to share  their opinion and seems to believe that every suggestion must be rated  in some way by them, this is not the case and just creates ground for  opposition and hostility.
