Feregor, Folly, Your Sufferrer ((Big Screenshots!))

A scrawny guy with big faith, and a big heart. What a crazy fellow, designed to bring as much conflict to the server as possible. Actually he was not originally designed to be the flagellant, political, and scrounging man you saw of him.

I applied to be an Ordinant of the Society who would experiment more with the aberrant, creating a taboo branch of aberrant crusaders. That was in April. Due to time constraints I went on hiatus until late November and I thought it would be great to give him his true run. But as I progressed early with him, I thought of giving the Society some opposition instead. I took the candidacy and ran with it for some fun times! They need more conflict! Wish I could of done more in town but alas such was not to be! So who was Feregor?

Bio: Feregor began his early life following the ideals set by the Disciples of St. Sollars. He was trained like all medical practitioners to study the weaknesses of the human body and study the possible afflictions caused to it. Over time he grew unsettled with the constant moans of suffering within the temple, of the sight of the malformed, diseased, poisoned, and crippled. On the remnants of a battlefield upon the Earthspur, surrounded by the suffering of many, he had a divine vision. A vision of a changed humanity, united in thought, untold power, and peace by faith. Such vision led him to leave his place within the Disciples and studying the human body and ways to achieve his vision. It is with this that he seeks to combine theology, medicine, and discipline to create the ultimate humanity.

Goals:

• Create a church known as the Church of Greater Life that will work to complete his vision.
• Study ways to enhance the human ways. Originally seeking theological means (divine empowerment) and then going towards darker means (aberrant implantations). I plan on scouting the server for all means, going as far as to raid Spellguard storage for info, or asking evil creatures like Intryzz for knowledge.
• Find enlightenment through his philosophy and convert other people to his philosophy
• Create a theocratic government in Lower or Upper and create forces to fight the Dread Empire

Feregor will always believe that what he is doing is the right thing, even if one were to call his work monstrous, it is a divine vision, a revelation. He believes the human form is damned due to its fragility and lack of advancement as compared to deep creatures such as the Deep Lizard and the Illithid. What he believes is the right thing though, will not always be the good thing to do.[/hide]

He met his end searching amongst the Lowerdark alone. Seeking to escape from the chaos of Lower and Upper. Finding answers against the Dread Empire. Thank you to the playerbase for your many interactions and Cmenden in the election, Winston for the burning, and the rest of the DM team for putting together this beautiful server that has won mine heart.

Things that happened during his candidacy

He ran from elves.


Tried to restart the House of Healing as a place of dark experimentation.


He saw many gross things but this was the most disgusting.


Still gives me shivers.

He rose with the elves after he lost against Larskul for Director. After a few days hiding the dark a wanted criminal, he was brought to justice... Afterwards is what followed...

Loneliness. He liked standing near the gate trying to convert people from Sanctuary.


Little did Feregor know that his preaching had gained unwanted attention... and his capture...

(His message was actually heard! but after his capture...)



I loved the reoccurring relationship between Feregor and Tintagel.


He would have done anything to get out alive. Including offer a bribe...


But caught red-handed...


And exiled for his crimes


And thrown from Sanctuary proper



A day or two after he saw his former partner, and to be prefect for chat. It did not go too well...



He went to many places after his exile of Sanctuary seeking greater life

The fact that he was able to go from lighting himself on fire in the square to almost sitting on the Directorate is a testament to how bizarre and excellent this PC was.

Feregor was a really cool idea for a monk. I really enjoyed all the interactions between our PCs. He totally had Aurelia's suppourt even to the end, despite their later opposite sides. A+ for a non martial artist ninja fighter monk thing.
