Some sort of tool that ports your corpse outside a Quest Area if your party is wiped.   There are periods where DMs aren't on for hours to clear your corpse and there are few larger motivation killers than having your play hours be stomped thin due to ooc circumstances.

Then have everyone respawn in a safe area and beg for invis potions/help over the sending system.

A large chunk of the player base have no interest in playing in Upper and their characters don't have access to it.   If making people respawn far away from the quests they were wiped in is as much effort that's going to be given this problem, then at least make there be an alternative to the mausoleum.

I think this idea has merit. A tool that checks if A: Your entire group is fugued, and B: Can send your corpse to the entrance of said quest, would be amazing.

There already is a tool for this.

It's called "respawn to mausoleum".

Edit:  I guess if you live outside Sanctuary that's a problem...

Anyway, I'm not sure this is easy to script, it involves setting up waypoints at the start of every QA, implementing, sorting out a problem that won't affect most people because there normally IS a DM available, and -most- players are not exiles or exiled and could quite happily respawn to the mausoleum.  I am not cool with it anyway - death is the MOST -IC- issue there is in EFU.  It's not an OOC problem for anyone if you die, it's an IC problem.   Or should be.  It's just that we're so liberal with clearing corpses and we so rarely say no - but it's generally been a courtesy as opposed to a given that you'll get your corpse sorted out.

There is an alternative to the Mausoleum for wilderness characters.

Actually there isn't.

Not sure if it's a bug or a feature but if you do the Wilderness Prelude you have no option except to respawn at corpse.
