At various parts of the module are tunnels blocked by non-interactive rubble.  It would be nice if the rubble could be made interactive and bashable by a "Pick" or "Shovel" equippable item.  Explorers could then hire teams of pcs to clear paths for them.  It would be much preferable to the current system in which the biggest hurdle to doing these things is an ooc one, trying to get hold of a DM to remove the rubble if the area beyond is ready.

99% of the time if you can't get there it's because we don't want you to, either because the area isn't ready, or a DM should be watching, or we want to make it difficult to get to, or whatever.

The option to dig for treasure  the vaious sandy shores would be pretty cool btw.  (Zelda gba style, random chance to find nothing, sometimes trash, ad rarely something good )

I THINK THAT WOULD ENCOURAGE A GRINDING OF SORTS THAT IS FREE OF ANY REAL RISK AND WOULD NOT BE BENEFICIAL TO THE MODULE OVERALL.

Expensive shovels that last only 10 uses.

Risk: You dig up nothing 10 times and lose the cash you paid for the shovel.
