More Machine Explorables

I love the little explorable tunnels and such, but I haven't really noticed any in the Machine. I wasn't sure if I should post this suggestion, because for all I know, they're everywhere but require a high Search to find or something!

I'd love to see more of them, though! I could see this change improving Machine antics quite a bit at the moment.

- We'd have roaming adventurers and scrappers going for them, so the SG and Aux could harass people for not having Machine Exploration Licenses.

- Sojourners who are so high level that they can't benefit as much from questing would be hunting them down, so we'd be more likely to have Sojourner/Agent + Aux random encounters

- I've heard that some people consider the Machine to be a supply drain with little in the way of rewards. I'd love to turn that opinion around and make it easier to drag people on Machine trips!

It's a good idea to incentivize conflict in the Machine and increase the odds of encounter between different competing groups.

As for the constructive part of my comment, I'd add that what would be fun would be to find some Svirfneblin dispensers in some of the randoms, which require baublium to power (and sometimes, much of it) for a chance of random reward.

More reasons to gather baublium, more reasons to explore the Machine, more avenues for conflict.

The Machine has fluctuated between not having enough to offer and perhaps too much, and I think the balance is just about right at this moment. Keep in mind that there's a lot to the Machine that may elude casual explorers who lack certain tools to get the most out of this part of the setting, and explorables definitely pop up in such areas.

I won't lie! I'm really new to the Machine since my previous PC had basically no reason to ever go inside. I'm glad to hear that these things are already around, because it gives me more motivation to pursue this IG!

Having gone in there, at least parts of it almost every day for a couple of weeks now, I can say that I have never seen one inside of the machine. (Bowels, Entstehung, waterworks, "growth" area between mentioned places). Perhaps they are further in that I normally travel however, as Ryan mentioned.

Perhaps part of the suggestion could be fixed if more of the areas weren't quite as exclusive. Not all of course.

I have previously encountered them within the Bowels a few times on Rufus in various places but never anywhere else in the machine outside the Bowels area. They do indeed exist though.
