Jean Dontharan

I'm going to be that guy and not have any screen shots to put up.

Jean was a Watcher, Oathsworn and my first character.  At first I just played him to figure out how things work on EFU, but playing a Helmite Watcher was fun and felt engaging.

His background was pretty cliche, but I'll put it up anyway:

Jean Dontharan was a paladin of Helm and a Purple Dragon Blade before the Darkening.  He served a border Lord of Cormyr in defending the outskirts of the Kingdom from invasion.  When the Dread invaded they attacked the village in which his wife and son lived.  He abandoned his post and rode to the village in an vain attempt to save them.  The occupants of the village were either dead or enthralled, amongst the dead were his wife and son.  

By the time he returned to his outpost, the Dread had already laid siege and the fortress was in ruins.  He fell from grace due to his abandoning his charge and wandered the barren surface a fallen paladin until the rescue portal saved him.

He might not have accomplished much, but it was fun roleplaying with everyone.  Have fun and see you on my next character!

Hey man! Well played :)

I remember you well at Traensyr, aiding us during crazy... and I think it was Jean who Larrik helped save from a particularly strange Beholder....but more than anything...
I remember your work as a Watcher, basically saving my life, by sticking to a strict interpretation of Sanctuary law and seeing that justice be done.

A very honest, direct, no nonsense persona that I admired.
