Just wanted to do a shout out for the puzzle room quest in the Arrival's Tower. This is neat! :)

1019

I'll second that, very cool little area, especially for player new to the server.

TheMoonlightBecomesYou

It smells oddly of Johannes and formaldehyde. Towers of Hanoi, ftw

Equinox

MOAR quest like this!

tooh

kudos!
the simple is always better and become complex when grows.

bloodynose21

I like it, and am in favour of another solo quest!

Listen in Silence

I am always in favour of non-combat quests.

Letsplayforfun

I hate to break it, but isn't that one of the enigmas from the extensions?

Very nice to have those, though, really.

Porkolt

Nice, easy, well-known puzzle. Can be solved in just 15 moves! But still lots of fun to waste your slow time on.

A great job on scripting it, I know I couldn't have done it. :D

Try doing it again.

Howlando

Ultimately solving the puzzle in its most complex form would take something in excess of several billion years, assuming five seconds a move and done perfectly, I believe.

(If anyone accomplishes that, I will give them level 40)

Szgk

I think Howland has in mind the legend that inspired (or was invented by) the creator of the puzzle. It had to do with Brahman priests following an ancient prophecy by moving the 64 disks of the puzzle. According to the legend, when they solve it the world will end. Of course, that won't happen any time soon, as it needs 2^64-1 moves to complete.

Also, there is no 'most complex' form to this puzzle.

dragonfire9000

I believe Howl meant to say, "Most complex form imaginable by mankind." Then again Szgk, I've never accused you of humanity. :P

This is really quite fun, and I liked my prize... *holds up scroll of @#$@#%!@#!@#* I want to try it again quick!!

Anonymous Bosch

This puzzle can extend into infinity, so no limits (assuming anyone can be bothered with more than 8 discs).

Yeah, I figured it would probably expand after the first go.

I can do the five-disc in my mind as well, haven't tried the six-disc one, tbh.

Excuse me for being more focused on RPing than playing this quest over and over. :D
