Knight Of Pentacles

Started under the premise of a northman who believed Tyr was his people's creator god.  His concept mixed Tyr's history on Earth (as he's an interloper deity) with that of the Forgotten Realms.  Instead of Fenrir being who took Tyr's hand, in his mythology it was Dendar at the beginning of time.  Tyr had chained her to the roots of the World Tree though one day she would escape and poison the sky.  A final battle would occur where Tyr would destroy Dendar though losing his own life in the process.  He had hoped the telling of this saga would inspire hope in Sanctuary's residents, however it was rarely if ever touched upon.

He was a Tyrann who cared far more for the spirit of the law than the letter of the law.  Even as a Watcher he often didn't charge people with crimes through laws he considered to be petty.   Later through events that are better learned in game he deserted the Watchers and fled to Lower where he found the faith of the Ascension.  He was immediately drawn to its message of hope and freedom and took its teachings to heart.  He's later executed for his betrayal of the Watchers which is by far one of the more satisfying deaths any of my characters have ever had.

Here are some screenshots, unfortunately there aren't many of the Battle of the Canal which was by far the event that impacted his life the most.

Blue41

Sounded like a cool dude, KOP. Shame I didn't get to meet him in-game. Different sort of Watcher from what I've seen so far.

Ziya

I feel so bad OOC-ly. ._.

R.I.P.

Hhean

His final interactions with Flint were interesting. Odd that I only actually interacted with him in a significant fashion after he left the watchers.

scrappayeti

I really enjoyed him.

The Machinist

Arc

I know that I'm nearly purely at fault for his execution, but god did I enjoy Magnus. A watcher unlike any we had- so strong of conviction that he got thrown out. I was secretly hoping you'd get to some big position in lower. Great Character.

Disco

Gentlemen of the Empire

I'm sad that I only got to interact with this character towards the end of his life and in a dire situation. I enjoyed the brief conversation our characters had and would have liked to see more of him.

goate

I was hoping Magnus' cause would take off, but KOP maintained integrity.  Magnus' heart was too big for Upper, and his morals were too high for Lower.  He was doomed to be surrounded by enemies.

Great to see a conscientious objector to Upper's duplicity who was actually willing to take an open stand against it.  Ain't easy being LG in Sanctuary, especially when the G dwarfs the L.

Kotenku

Now make him again as a dwarf

Somniis

Seeing Magnus on-duty in Watcher uniform in Freedom Square; my PC never thought twice about him.

Seeing him elsewhere, out-of-uniform, sharing words, Magnus had a huge impact on the development of my new character.

Being in the room to listen to the trial... my character got to see how Sanctuary's justice system operates first-hand, and learn plot related information, my character would not have learned elsewhere.

I like trials IG. I've been to about 4 in 10 years. I find, much is revealed about everyone in the room during trials!

Great job KoP!

Moonlighter

I didn't interact with him much, but this was a pretty cool character KOP.

WellRespectedMan

very cool PC, sorry it ended so suddenly!
