Debris piles and searchables in the Access Ways/Dunwarren - Traveling

Debris piles are fairly ubiquitous throughout the Machine, yet are curiously absent in some of the more obscure parts of Dunwarren, such as the Access Ways and Traveling maps - as well as a few I dare not name for spoiler's sake. Might make sense to add a sprinkling of them throughout those areas.

And I'm not sure how desirable this is, but also perhaps some placeables where the search skill could come in handy for randomized loot. The lack of them makes sense in the Bowels, as that area has been combed over for countless years, but the slightly more virgin territory deeper into the Machine might still have better loot unaccounted for. Might make scrapping a bit more viable without DMs or random explorable areas being the sole provider of the really good stuff.

Failing that, a sufficiently high level quest deep in the Machine might also be cool as a means of providing Dunwarren-flavored loot - scrappers tend to rely on Malfunctioning Power Core, but that becomes unavailable past level 7, so we're just left to go through the motions at that point. The Auxiliary and Spellguard might also benefit from all this, of course.

Both those ideas would be really cool for deeper forays into the Machine.

Gonna bump this up. I do think this would make scrapping and Machine delving in general a bit more spicey!

Dredi

I think it might be better simply to allow the "hatch/rusty hatch" explorables in these areas

I've been working on Machine stuff. More to come also.

Resurrecting this to recommend the DC on a certain searchable quest be reduced, or the rewards made somewhat more worth passing the high difficulty check - though it's possible I've just had bad luck so far.

Howlando

How about I change it so liquid XP and treasure is just instantly pumped into Scrapper PC veins on login.

(The DC is reasonable - there are multiple versions - the loot is randomized - and the XP a nice little bonus all the way up to level 10 - for a quest that requires no interaction but seems tailor-made for stealthy scrapper PCs that just quietly stealth along in the Machine after every reset to pick up their daily risk-free treasure - I hardly think it needs to be made more rewarding!)

Liquid treasure would be pretty painful, one would think!

(All fair points, haha...)
