The Old Hack

Well, this is the end of the line for Shannon. I enjoyed her a great deal and actually managed to do most of what I wanted to do with her! It was an abrupt end and I admit I am a little disappointed that she died just now as she had just experienced a major change in direction -- but that's how it goes.

I owe a great deal of thanks to many wonderful characters and their interactions with Shannon. I cannot possibly do them all justice but I do want to mention some of the finest:

William Kingsmouth, best and greatest half-orc I have seen for a long time.
Abala Quickfeet for being another kind of Tyrran -- they did not always see eye to eye but Shannon nonetheless respected and admired her.
Narvis Naerfaine, for being a scheming snake that Shannon respected and admired even as she did not fully trust him.
Shara Then, for being a surprising new friend Shannon had far too little time together with.
Seregon le'Qulla, for giving Shannon the biggest shock and revelation of her whole life.
Malcolm Larrak, for recruiting Shannon into the Oathsworn and being a steady support of a different kind.
Vesper Valancia, the mage in all of Sanctuary that Shannon respected the most.
Hale, the Watcher and Tyrran who set Shannon her biggest challenge -- one she had finally started to conquer near the end of her life, thanks to Seregon.

And many others, Melanie, Golgor, Duatelo, Kennet, Jestin, Aowelian, Edgar, Donte, Thrar -- I am sure I have forgotten so many and I hate that! Thanks to all of you, it was an awesome experience!

On to the screenshots:

A lot of good stuff in there -- swearing the Oath to the Society, several trials, adventures with good friends -- Abala's and Seregon's trials stand out, and of course the trial of poor Gabriele where Shannon served as prosecutor. (I was so happy when the Agent intervened to get his sentence reduced to exile. I thought it would be kind of horrible if he had just been executed.)

Again, thanks to you all for a good time!

Gentlemen of the Empire

Excellent character, one I was looking forward to many more interactions with. It seems I will be disappointed! Always enjoyable to roleplay with. I am rather sad to see such a good PC go.

Doc-Holiday

Nooooo....

Mikael was still trying to develop a friendship with her!

Ashes of Athas

I am disappointed I didn't talk longer with Shannon last night :( Now I feel guilty.

Was fun roleplaying with your character as always, and I am excited to see what you make next :).

The Samophlange

I enjoyed your character across two of my own. Shannon had some of the best growth as a character that I have seen on the server. It felt like a very natural thing as she matured and began to face her own shortcomings. She was not a grand, larger than life hero, but rather a smaller force of good that mirrored the sort of heroism people face often in real life: To face one's own issues, and try to be a better person every day.

I shall very much look forward to whatever you make next.

Cat

We only got to meet the one time, which was a shame! I was very grateful for how nice Shannon was to my little newbie character. Hopefully we can interact more with a new character of yours.

Ziya

I was /this/ close to making this tough-Red Supporter support Narvis instead. /This/ close. Haha.

R.I.P., Shannon, R.I.P. ._.

Witchcraft

I had just met her...

Vault Shrike

Great screenshots. :)

Pool

She was a gentle lady of fine tastes and virtues. God speed. o7

CondorHero

I enjoyed the interactions between Shannon and Hamir.

RIP ;_;7

Mortui

She was an enjoyable character to talk and RP with.

Good work, ToH.

VeiledMist

Mees Shannon!  :'(  RIP

Arc

Great character- Loved the slow development of Shannon! Sad to see her go so soon.

Hale was crushed.

Nikolaz

She was a hater, and I hated her, she was so mean to my character and despite foul rumors of crying in the dark coming from the Defense Branch Office, I did in fact not shed any tears of sorrow. The Watcher Knight just happened to be cutting onions nearby after one of my drones had informed me of her most fortuitous passing.
