I have played some games of DnD, (not necessarily the real thing, more like the arcade game) and noticed trolls are EXTRA vulnerable and could die mainly to fire. Inside of the DnD you would have to weaken trolls and burn them with fire to kill them. From what I do know about the DnD world is that many moves like combust, fireball, and other fire moves are able to deal a high amount of damage. Perhaps we lower the vulnerability to fire for trolls?

Trolls are already vulnerable to fire IIRC, but it isn't something as giant as 100% vulnerability.

Pestilence

Should be 100% so you can fire them gud!

Relinquish

Would make spells like flame weapon pretty strong, and they already are strong!

Trolls are really annoying with their hitboxes (?) when they bunch up, if they die faster I say it is for the better.  It would make casters with fire spells more useful.

Doesn't -shouldn't - fire stop regeneration or something along those lines?

Thomas_Not_very_wise

trolls are only one type of spawn.

Giving them a 100% fire weakness won't change much.

Too difficult to implement, as of my limited understanding.

100% invulnerability is certainly overdoing it. You hurt them tons as it is with fire and another choice elemental damage.

Couldn't you just put fire vulnerability on the troll skin?

I think they are more vulnerable to fire. I recall a fire spell doing much more damage than it would allow, caster level wise against some trolls.
