By order of both Legates, the Scribes are tasked with distributing a participation medal to all the soldiers and mercenaries who survived the battle of the Abulmahhu. If no medals are found in storage, please contact one of us to discuss arrangements. There's a Smithing Guild in the Well. We can put them to use for something.

As far as I can tell, no medals of the previous batch remain in storage. As such, more will have to be forged.

However, I would humbly suggest that this matter be made a topic of conversation for the War Council. It should have an uniform approach in the future, decided upon by the Warmaster and Councilors.

Further, I'd also advise against medals for every singular battle, as that is quite expensive. Unless you wish for medals forged out of shoddy metal, that is. Perhaps, after the war is finally over, medals can be distributed to the bravest of soldiers.

If you truly wish to reward every single battle in some manner, stickers would be a cheaper alternative. I like stickers.

We will not doing every battle, for that would be very silly. I do, however, believe that this particular battle in which we lost Durgin Doomed-Oath, Kythaela, and Marcellus amongst other noble souls warrants remembrance. If none remain on hand, then get in contact with the Chief Scribe and get us a price to see this arranged.

P.S: We will, of course, be bringing the matter up at the War Council, too. But it does not hurt to prepare on the side, as well. I just know that those people are going to wave their hands and tell us to ask the Scribes.
