Letter to the Church of the Dome

To my superiors,

I seek your help in recognizing a linchpin member of our Modini community, Milo Skifwright, as one of our own.

Skifwright was an 'Awoken', an outsider who woke with memories of distant impossible places as many do here in the sands. He was found and tutored by a mystic of the Admiral, who has treated as his de facto Patron and served dutifully in his time here.

Times are increasingly tense for the Modini community and the Dome faithful. Zealots screech on the sendings calling for the death of the Modini people and the purge of the faithful from the town. Our pilot-priestess, Voltaire, was recently attacked by one such individual. Tensions continue to rise.

In all of this, Skifwright has been a steady voice of unerring faith. He has been a great help to me personally, often accompanying me or joining me for protection. He attends religious services and never hesitates to offer his hand. Finally, he has shown an exceptionally solid understanding of our faith that would rival any missionary.

I ask that Milo Skifwright be welcomed formally as a member of the Modini people, granted full citizenship and given his rites with the Admiral as his Patron.
