A duplicate missive is left at the Hospital and the Gold League

Dante, Fiordelise

My friends. In the past day I have had much to reflect on, coming to a number of realizations. It has been an undeniably difficult thing to reconcile with. My duties though to the Tower, to the Nadiri now pledged to my care, and more has thrust me back into the world. As a Nadiri, as we spoke, it was so easy to cloister myself away. I must tend myself, I must tend my studies, the work is what matters, my pitiable state leaves me undisturbed, more and further self-deceptions.

As an Apothar however I am given obligation. Responsibility. The Nadiri in my charge require things - guidance, resources, experimental protocols. Such things I, as a Nadiri, was glad to exchange for favors and more. However as an Officer of the Accord it is expected that I bestow upon them these things that they may earnestly begin to improve. Not only for themselves, but for the Well. Above all else that is the arrangement leveled - The improvement of the Nadiri that they may improve the Well.

Though I confess a degree of hesitance in regards to Augury, you have both done much for me. And this instance may be a fair one to bring the Nadiri to understand the gravity of both our work and our service.

Nadiri Scherwin's Research shall be revisited, in one form or another.

QuoteApothar Hui'nalyw,

We spoke already a day ago, but - I wish to address this letter properly. I cannot thank you enough for your decision, your guidance, and your honesty.

To be frank, I too am generally wary of putting stock in visions or their like. Yet prevention, suppression and research of disease is the sort of effort that is never truly wasted.

I make myself available to you and your efforts in this, however you may need. Perhaps if my hope to join the Tower bears fruit, there need not be any barriers holding back the research at all.

I expect this is something already accounted for in Nadiri Scherwin's Research, but did she have a secure facility for study of the plague?

In friendship,
