Been a while since we've had time to bump shoulders. Two-part.
One: I'm granting you the capacity, legally, and the invitation to join my expeditions. I know you've been nosing around the Tower's business down there, and I think you of all people are starting to realize why it's quite important that we push ahead.

Two:
I need access to the Janissary's old files. There's some variety of parasitic entity that's been showing itself, associated with Narwen and the Sisterhood. "Mind Spider" is the keyword my people used. When I was digging around, there was some information about a "Yagumdallar" in the same period that they looked involved with.

Whatever got tracked back seems to be becoming more active. I don't need to understate the potential danger that's implicit in dealing with this. This is a threat that stretches far beyond the typical conventions and the nature of the Djinn.

There's no records of 'mind spider' sightings in our files. The closest I can recall was related to something Zol Nur mentioned, something about some kind of insect queen with latent psionic powers that was imprisoned in the Mount for experimentation purposes. A connection to the Scorpoid perhaps? There may have been plans for wartime applications, but it fell to the wayside as so many Astronomer projects have.
