My Apothar has bade me make ready my Thesis Defense, considering the topic and reinforcement of "How my research and studies shall be a boon to the peoples of Ephia's Well". Though I do not hold the Epoch yet it grows apparent I now look over the precipice.

While many are embroiled in the political landscape of the election and I would not wish to detract from your own important works, I would be remiss not to do my due diligence. While current affairs bleed into all aspects of life - Politics, Feud, Accusation, more, I know these will never wholly stop. So while you and the Apothar focus on the high and important matters I remain focused on the more rudimentary aspects of my scholarship.

You yourself have undergone such a trial, as well as ushered three others the same. Though it is steps removed your apprentice, has taken apprentice, who is apprenticing mineself. I hope it is not a breach of protocol to seek your wisdom, considering my success a reflection on your own, as well as the passing of your loyalty test.

I would ask you consider my request twofold.

First - What suggestions may you offer in terms of preparation for my Defense? I know my works unorthodox, especially given the subject matter, but so too many of the Tower favor a step away from the Orthodox. Attending and following your protocols and protections is what has managed to keep my work secured where others are less discreet. A further testament to your teachings, but I was curious is that something I ought lean into or should I navigate away from such? Focusing moreso on the larger picture?
