[ A letter circulates in the offices of the White League. ]

People of Ephia's Well,

Glory to YOU! Glory to the sons and daughters of Ephia's bosom, far and wide across the desert sands and barren lands. You, the labourers, the bricklayers, the toilers— eternal honour is yours, and the glory of the ages rings aloud in YOUR name.

We have acquired an astounding FOURTY signatures. Fourty Voiced and Voiceless banded together in common cause to see the Hasheema's Hope invigorated with a princely sum of 25,000 dinars. The Legates of both seats, Argent and Marcellus, have both signed and acquiesced to our demands for prosperity.

Look and see how hefty your hands are! How your voice brings low proud mountains with but a murmur!

You are LUMINARIES. You are BUILDERS. You are CONQUERORS.

They have sworn to have this sum supervised by us all. You, Voiced or Voiceless, are to see this 25,000 dinar given handily to the Hasheema's Hope, and your vigilance will cast away all trickery and shrouds that day. It is up to US ALL to hold THEM accountable!

Today, we celebrate. However, we mustn't rest on our laurels, satisfied at this victory alone. Forever beware the Djinni called Complacency! Keep him far away with persistence and diligence, for he fears the heart of the valiant more than anything in this world.

The work continues, as ever, and we must constantly whirl a storm of criticism to each and every short-coming of ours. Set an example, and never forget our collective vision. Remember that each step we take is a step taken atop the corpses of countless nameless martyrs! We will honour their memory, their courage in our hearts, and we must espouse correct ideals tempered by the hammer of rigorous criticism always.

Dare to upturn the cruelties of the world!
Criticize all that corrupts the sanctity of our fraternity!
Hold high the banner of humility and diligence!
Remember the sacrifices of the people!
