Good Janissaries,

 I have consulted this matter my Co-Legate and we both believe that before the incoming battle one of the largest threats to our Well are the Seekers, who may be hidden among the Refugees, and now even "replacing" some of our citizens.

 It is thus our request that more random searches be performed, and if sufficient suspicion is warranted that properties be also investigated.

 Primarily we are looking for evidence that people may belong to the Seekers-After-Death. According to what I hear they tend to use very specific daggers and weapons. Perhaps some will bare Marks we can identify.

 If we can put pressure on them before the battle they may be unable to act on the eve of the battle itself. I know that this can cause some discontent, especially among the refugees, but the fact we have found so little evidence of their activities worries me greatly, as they continue to attack myself when I leave the Well.

 They are still present, but hiding.

 Do with this request as you see fit, but understand that the safety of the Well may very well depend on it.
