Soldier Hogshire,

Per your request the enclosed are notes taken from conversation.

Banducci questioning
Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Recluta. Have you seen Sister Nebtu?
Ottavio Banducci: Not in some time, I'll admit.
Ottavio Banducci: Not since she tried butchering those poorly Quarry mercenaries.
Celybuin Hui'nalyw: You are certain it her? I have spoken to Balladeer and others to no avail.
Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I see.

Sister Amelie and Acolyte Kellyn questioning

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I do not start trouble, Recluta.

Sister Amelie: I am sure there shall be no trouble. Welcome in the name of the sacred Wheel, as we stand under the Wyld's gaze. [She smiles.]

Sister Amelie: Have we met formally?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Sister Amelie. We have not. I am Celybuin Hui'nalyw, Nadiri of Apothar Zol Nur.

Kellyn Faraday: Zol Nur is a friend of this Priory.

Kellyn Faraday: He's very wise.

Sister Amelie: Ah, Zol Nur's apprentice, I have heard of you. [She dips her head.] I am as you say,

Sister Amelie, Speaker for Kula among my duties here.

Sister Amelie: It speaks well of you that he has chosen you. It is not a matter he takes lightly.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He inclines his head] The Apothar has tasked me to speak with Sister Nebtu, but for days she has not been found. Including speaking with Balladeer and Recluta.

Sister Amelie: Is it so? [A gesture to her left. She smiles.] Acolyte Kellyn may be of aid to you. I must depart to attend my duties.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Of course. I have had the pleasure of knowing Kellyn.

Sister Amelie: Wyld keep you, good company.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I have not seen her since the Debate on the nature of time in the Plaza, but a task assigned I would see through.

Kellyn Faraday: We had that conversation outside, yes. It was quite nice. I enjoy hearing the way others view the world. Apothar Zol Nur is .. quite a good heart.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He bows his head] Human perspective is a curiosity, I admit.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Was that the last time you had seen her?

Kellyn Faraday: I know you're fairly new to the well, but my Sister is a bit frail, and sickly. She has to depart the well from time to time, and other times, she has to stay cloistered.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: May I inquire which holds her presently?

Kellyn Faraday: She can spend weeks in cloister. I fear, Nadiri, I am not my sisters keeper. [She frowns.] I last saw her 3 nights ago, I believe.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He offers a quarter bow] I see. Thank you.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Do not let me keep you further from your duties. If you see her however could you pass on I seek to speak?

Kellyn Faraday: [She dips her own chin.] Of course. I'll write it down for her.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: My thanks.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Live and Drink.

Lyrist Aubrey Domergue questioning

Aubrey Domergue: My last encounter with her was...

Aubrey Domergue: ... was she speaking with Argent, in the desert, with Selsi?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: It is why I inquired with the Acolyte of if she was within or outwards, yes.

Aubrey Domergue: Not that many days ago, then.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Qari Claimed to have seen her two days ago in the Plaza, but admitted the days blur as do the Sisters.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: It seems to corroborate with Acolyte Kellyn's claim of three days past.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: It is not, however many are departed for more time and their names remain upon their registry.

Aubrey Domergue: I can press the issue.

Aubrey Domergue: Are you worried for her safety and well-being?

Aubrey Domergue: I will make inquiries.

Aubrey Domergue: It is strange that she has been stricken from the roster.

Aubrey Domergue: Has it truly only been a week since they met Argent in the desert? [She kneads her brow] Goodness me.

Aubrey Domergue: So be it.

Some days ago now these taken, per what we spoke of in the Garrison, so the dates may be skewed.

May it aid in finding answers.

Left with the Desk Sergeant

Legion,

Attached the final pieces of my interviews.

Acolyte Alendiel
Narwen Alendiel: Sister Nebtu has not been feeling well. She has entered Close Cloisture Meditation.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Might I get word to her? Zol Nur Apothar misses their Philosophical Debates.

Narwen Alendiel: She sometimes goes into seclusion for weeks... even months.

Narwen Alendiel: I can leave a message for her but she will not read it until she leave.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Please and thank you.

Sister Amelie
Sister Amelie: I have been long in consultations regarding the war effort. My duties have multiplied. Even so, I have some time.

Sister Amelie: [A pause.] Are you Apothar Zol Nur's apprentice?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I have read your Reports, they are quite thorough. [He bows his head]

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I am.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Well. One of the three.

Sister Amelie: That is what I recalled. It is...

Sister Amelie: I thought initially he was a very odd choice, for Apothar, that he would not command the necessary attributes of leadership necessary to see his charges prosper.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He gestures to the seat] If I might?

Sister Amelie: I was wrong. [A sharp smile, she gestures to the seat.]

Sister Amelie: He is among your best.

Sister Amelie: Now then, how may we be of aid to you?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I do not wish to sound crass, but I confess it is pleasing to have a non-human perspective on issues, so many of the Tower find themselves ingrained in the immediacy of matters. The Apothar to his credit, a wider gaze.

Sister Amelie: [She remains standing, arms crossed but only partially, and she gently prunes the vines that coil about her wrists, and reach along to her fingertips. A little bloom here, and there, in yellows and whites. A nod in acknowledgement.]

Sister Amelie: It is so, ever to his credit.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I was curious if there was any word when Sister Nebtu would be back from her pilgrimage? Zol Nur Apothar had enjoyed their philosophical debates greatly, and has tasked me to organize a meeting.

Sister Amelie: [A wan smile.] I was under the impression Acolyte Kellyn had spoken with you of this matter. My Sister Nebtu is cloistered, undertaking works sacred to our order.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He shakes his head] She had said she was not her Sister's keeper and was uncertain.

Sister Amelie: /Ah/. Hm. Imprecise, but it is true, it is not for her to know. Sister Nebtu is a private woman.

Sister Amelie: I will pass along your best wishes, and Zol Nur's best wishes, when she shall emerge.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He bows his head] Of course. Thank you, Sister. Is there an estimate of how long such a task would occupy her?

Sister Amelie: I would not presume to ask her. [A wan smile. A hint of bemusement, perhaps, and she considers.] She shall emerge when the hour is right, and no sooner.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He dips his head] Of course. As is her right and yours alike. I shall pass on such to the Apothar.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Is there anything you'd wish me to pass along to the Apothar of the war effort?

Sister Amelie: I am grateful. [She flexes the fingers of her left hand, it would seem to test the movement of those vines that coil and shift with unsettling precision.] Of the war-effort, no, but that I am discretely seeking what may be found of the /iconography/ we have discussed.

Sister Amelie: The details are for the War Council alone and so I cannot utilize the full measure of our Sibylline resources.

Sister Amelie: But I am as adept a librarian as any, by this point, hm?

Sister Amelie: [A sharp smile.] The virtues of an upbringing under bookbinders.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He bows his head] It is a most noble craft, certainly.

Sister Amelie: I speak to the Acolytes of the various glues, and their consistencies, and how they affect the various grades of vellum and their eyes glaze over.

Lyrist Domergue
Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I was wondering if you had chance to speak with the Sisters?

Aubrey Domergue: Regarding what, specifically?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Sister Nebtu.

Aubrey Domergue: Oh.

Aubrey Domergue: Not with any grandeur.

Aubrey Domergue: The presumption was that she was merely tending her duties.

Aubrey Domergue: I haven't found any able to attest otherwise.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I fear I have, if I may share them with you?

Aubrey Domergue: You "fear"?

Aubrey Domergue: Go on.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Yes, fear. Zol Nur Apothar and the Sister were close. He is concerned, and as his Apprentice it is my charge to abate that concern.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Acolyte Kellyn proclaimed she was away on pilgrimage but that she would leave word of his desires when she returned.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Acolyte Narwen proclaimed she had taken severely ill from her frailty and was secluded to recover, but that she would leave word of his desires when she was better.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: And Sister Amelie proclaimed she was undertaking "Sacred Works".

Aubrey Domergue: Admittedly, while it may not seem it, those all largely mean the same thing.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: I would agree if not for the fact two have said she is in Ephia for different reasons and one has said she is gone.

Aubrey Domergue: If Amelie is unconcerned, I would bid you to remain unconcerned.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Regrettably, as much as I enjoy our discussion on book binding, I am not apprentice of Sister Amelie.

Aubrey Domergue: Understandable.

Aubrey Domergue: I suspect Zol Nur will not be satisfied until Nebtu returns.

Aubrey Domergue: In which case, it appears there is no course but to merely wait.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Does the Priory not serve the Grandmaster?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: You cannot make inquiry of a larger magnitude?

Aubrey Domergue: I will ask.

Aubrey Domergue: I suspect I will receive the same answer - she is busied and not available at present.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He dips his head] You may, but which Sister you ask and their response may be differing.

Aubrey Domergue: It might.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He nods] Is there any payment required for your aid in this matter? I know it is beyond your usual duty.

Aubrey Domergue: Payment? No. I will make inquiries.

Aubrey Domergue: Nebtu is much beloved; I would like to ensure her safety as well.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He dips his head] Gratitude. And thank you for the time, I know the election draws near. I will not keep you further.

Aubrey Domergue: And war! ... and war.

Aubrey Domergue: Live and drink, Nadiri.

Acolyte Miro
Margarethe Eisenberg: Come inside.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Have you seen Sister Nebtu, Acolyte Miro?

Miro Lac-du-Manse: She is cloistered for her health.

Estellise Azimi: Perfect. Thank you, Nadiri.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Most unfortunate. {He hands ot the coffee and falaffel with a large jug of syrup} Yes, Apothar.

Estellise Azimi: Her health? What has occurred?

Margarethe Eisenberg: Something has befallen her?

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Do you know when she shall be improved? Apothar Zol Nur wishes to speak with her.

Miro Lac-du-Manse: I was not made aware of the entire details. Suffice to say that she was struggling before she decided to recuse herself of such worldly things... I cannot say when she shall be feeling better.

Miro Lac-du-Manse: Such a shame, I was looking forward to discussing Alezabaali dialectics.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: ...Recuse herself of such worldly things? She has ascended?

Miro Lac-du-Manse: No, of interfacing with outsiders.

Estellise Azimi: What are "Alezabaali dialectics"?

Miro Lac-du-Manse: The Priory is a place not of the world.

Margarethe Eisenberg: That sounds made up.

Miro Lac-du-Manse: I am sure they are simple child's play to an Imperial Fatespinner.

Miro Lac-du-Manse: They are dialectics as imagined through the august doctrine of Sophist Alezabaal Utu-Hengal.

Estellise Azimi: The name is unfamiliar to me. Is that a scholar in Baz'eel or Il Modo?

Miro Lac-du-Manse: She is perhaps the one decent contribution the Baz'eeli have made to academia, with, perhaps, the exception of Q'tolip.

Estellise Azimi: Oh? Where does her Tower reside?

Miro Lac-du-Manse: She is dead now, she died some time before Ringfall -- the details are lost, ensconsed in all manner of salacious rumor. There is no better way, it suits the work.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Anything more required, Apothars? I would not infringe upon this long awaited meeting.

Miro Lac-du-Manse: Her Tower resides in my heart.

Estellise Azimi: Ah. Yes. Thank you, Nadiri. You may go.

Margarethe Eisenberg: I require nothing more, thank you.

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: [He offers a quarter bow between the pair]

Celybuin Hui'nalyw: Do please let the Sister know when she is once more of this world, that Zol Nur Apothar wishes to discuss more philosophy.
[close]

The stories differ, talk of casting off worldly things, and more gave the Apothars pause and concern. However by order of Zol Nur Apothar I have been removed from this matter to focus on other undertakings and studies. I trust it shall assist going further.
