My esteemed Co-Legate and shared author of atrocities,

I hope this missive finds you well! I apologize for the mayhem, but it was necessary that in my absence the Well not be left to the whims of the League of Purple unobstructed.  I created a situation of gridlock; which I intend to maintain unless you and I can find common cause.

I know that you have likely made certain promises to the Priory of the Sybilline Vine in the wake of their treasonous disruption of the Ephian War Effort.

A man cannot be elected in Ephias Well save that he sell his soul to the Cinquefoil Rose.

You know that I have ably enacted the Gold platforms of a prohibitively priced Voice, and advanced legal protections for those who hold Citizenship.

These are the demands of my League and are inflexible. 

We are both beholden to promises and oaths that if not carefully managed will make monsters of us both.

I shall return to the Well by the end of day tomorrow.  You and I must sit and talk a long while.  I prefer to be friendly with my partners when I am able, and we shall be partners for a little while longer.

Let us do our best to make this a worthwhile term.
