Hide EFUSL / Player list in game

I have this weird memory of the player list being hidden in the past and loving it. Can we reduce EFUSL to just showing population and hiding the player list?

People want to see who's on to play with friends or meet up with specific players for maybe some sort of reason, seeing who's online makes this possible.  You can also see if someone from a faction is on if you want to join up.
