Suggestions for Rogue Changes

Here are a few ideas from a pure Rogue enjoyer in case there are upcoming changes for the class on the horizon:

  • Gaining Weapon Finesse as an innate class feat, bonus feat at Level 5.
  • Additional support / DPS amp for the party via sneak attack. Either a choice of physical damage vulnerability, AC / AB debuff, damage debuff, or a soft CC effect like daze. Attribute draining should remain gated behind a higher level.
  • Finesse Training or an equivalent feat made available to Rogues where damage scales with Dexterity.
  • Abilities and feats that scale combat abilities with social skills such as Bluff, Intimidate, Persuasion. Higher synergy with roleplay choices in a build so that Charisma is less of a dead attribute in combat situations for a Rogue.
  • Torchfighter offered as a minor perk.
  • Extra damage dealt in lowlight situations on top of stealth bonuses.
  • Bigger emphasis on poisons via new feats and abilities or a new system that interacts with various poisons found throughout the module.
  • New per day ability that allows Rogues to reenter stealth in line of sight similar to Vanishing Smoke.
  • Improved Evasion, Slippery Mind, Skill Mastery, Defensive Roll and Opportunist made available at levels earlier than 10.
