Every day, I get asked "why"- and what I thought was a clear answer, I now doubt. I feel like I am missing something.

What is a warrior?

I have given it a few days thought on what I am missing, and while I think I have come to understand a little more, it still feels incomplete. As I am, I do not think I have the clarity of thought to answer this on my own- I think, instead, I will need to seek a tutor.

It has taken time and patience, but I finally feel as if I am making progress on the correct path.

What matters now is what I do with the time that I have as a Janissary- there are wars to fight, and it is time we start making progress on one front or another.
