It has come to my attention that during my earlier unproductive exchange with Roderick and his Elfish student that I made use of the term 'subhuman' in a derogatory sense. I understand that as a gnome, and as a victim of Moteist oppression, this might have been offensive to you. Allow me to articulate a brief self-criticism on the matter.

I grew up in a society where there were, indeed, only humans, and it is my default term of address towards people. I did not mean anything bigoted or offensive by it, but realize that referring to a man and an elf in such a manner gives a bad impression. I was simply looking for some creative epithet for Roderick and his companion, and I used one which has deeply unfortunate connotations. I apologize for having done so, and maintain I never meant anything discriminatory by the remark, although I understand how it is easily what you might take from it. I am, have been, and always will be, a steadfast enemy of Moteism.
