Dear seƱor Delmar,

As promised, I've taken some time to study your publication. I found it quite a promising start in a barely-understood phenomenon. I'd like to add a few observations, however.

-The Revenants are, in fact, also healed by negative energies. In this, they share a common trait with most undead. You will also note that positive energy neither heals nor harms them, either. I suggest you test this yourself when you have the chance, as this is per my own recollection when I performed such experiments, months ago.

-Nynths are not related to the "unliving". They are decidedly harmed by negative energies, and have some particularly weak points, even if their anatomies are barely discernable. I haven't tried using healing waters on them, but I suspect their effect would be common.

My suspicion is that they remain technically undead and are created, like most spontaneous undead, by greatly traumatic deaths. The fact that this trauma is being suffused with positive energy as their bodies are eroded perhaps explains their resilience to positive energy. Of course, this doesn't make it any less puzzling, that they manage to contain such contradictory elements within themselves.

One might wonder, furthermore, the relationship between the Ash and the Healing Waters, both suffused with such different forms of positive energy.

Finally, I will note that while I know not of the means of healing they had in the Old City, tales indicate that most of the Ash causing our current Ashstorms originates with the Ringfall, so perhaps such energies were curtailed by the Walls of the Rings themselves.

I commend you on your research, and hope that these observations are of some use. Please, feel free to find me, and also to send me any updates of your work.

Yours,

Alejandro
