 It is always a pleasure to hear from a fellow Izdur, and please forgive me for the lengthy time is took me to respond to your letter. Much has been happening, not only within the affairs of our city but also the greater politics of the Ash Desert. When so much happens it is difficult for one man to handle everything.

 Holding that in mind, your services would be welcome, but I would wish to learn of the full extent of them, to meet with you, learn who you truly are, and thus be able to tell in what capacity you could best aid our fair City.

  As I have found, Khorbar, what one is good at may not end up following what one has to learn and do. I was a scholar, I managed a library, and within the short span of the past three months I turned from a Scholar to a Warrior, a Commander, a Politician. These were all professions I was highly unfamiliar with, but I had to learn, I had to adapt.

 Just be prepared that once we sit down to speak what I may offer you might not align at all with what you expected.
