Esteemed members of the Purple League,

During last Election, it was made public that the White League would support the Purple one. In exchange, the Purple League promised - through the late Isabella - to subsidize Voices for the Voiceless. This fund would run up to 25 thousand dinari, and pay a maximum of 2.500 dinari per person. The fund would distribute a maximum of 2.500 dinari per week, so as to ensure it was a slow and manageable affair. It was a fair and acceptable compromise brokered between our wishes to have the price of Voices lowered for all and the now-Legate concerns on the matter. Sufficiently satisfied, the White League brought its voters to the Purple, and convinced many Voices in, for instance, the Banda Rossa, to do the same. This maneuver is likely part of what gave the Purple the election.

Sadly, the fund has only dispensed the first subsidy, before being stopped by Isabella's legal woes, unwise choices and... Tragic death. It still believe it is a noble endeavour. I personally paid the rest of Dormnhall's Voice, and he is now the first example of our successful collaboration. However, 22.500 dinari remain to be given.

I have spoken with Legate Zaniah, who understandably claims that she cannot uphold the promise made in the name of her campaign, being too busy with Legislative matters and lacking Sol Auk's steady income of bribes. Thusly, I'd like to offer members of the Purple League the chance to uphold the promise of their campaign.

Should you wish to aid, please seek me. I shall use the Bellows to announce your contributions, keep track of the amount of the Voiceless Subsidy Fund used and find, with the help of S/r Dormnhall, suitable candidates. Current Voiceless that seem worthy to me, personally, are Mote, Amenya and Elle, all three women of proven kindness and decency who ought to have a say in our politics.

I do hope this shall be a chance to demonstrate that cooperation is possible, and that promises made during the Election do not vanish into thin air.

Yours,

Alejandro Benjazar

Alejandro Benjazar,

Forgive the late response, new legate matters often have delegations and notary work that often fall to their parties to keep up with.

Obviously these promises made by Isabella were her own, but perhaps something could be worked out in both our interests. Rampant, misleading and exploitive designs that the Gold Legate has grown fond of are not something that the Sultan of Baz'eel ever wanted to befall any of the voiceless of Ephia's Well.

We should speak, and perhaps work to rectify this.

- Assistant Sylvia of the Purple League.

Esteemed S/ra Sylvia,

I thank you for your response. I of course understand that winning an Election can be overwhelming, and appreciate that you've taken the time to write.

Indeed, I fear that all of your colleagues have been unable to taken upon their shoulders the promise of the late Isabella.  While I am somewhat surprised, I cannot blame them.

I will be delighted to hear your offer. Collaboration between the Leagues for a good cause is just and necessary, and I remain concerned for the plight of the Voiceless. Perhaps one of these eves, when you are availible, you'd be so kind to make a Bellows calling for me. I'd love to visit, again, your beautiful offices in the Palm Heights.

I'm sure a nice agreement can be found, for the good of the Well we all love.

Yours,

Alejandro Benjazar
