Dear Sergeant Colmes and Janissary Graen,

I do not enjoy having my intelligence insulted by claims of ignorance from those who obviously know better.

This was an obvious assassination attempt on Nadiri Bestworth.

The first assassin's trial was bungled spectacularly but another awaits. I expected a different prosecutor to handle matters and a more substantial result. It is my preference that the prosecutor be one who does not show more sympathy for assassins than Nadiri, no matter how much they feel said Nadiri is an "idiot and a fool".

The safety of Ephia's Well is paramount and the Tower will not abide assassins roaming free after flagrant attempts on the lives of her defenders.
