Dear Scribes  of the Sublime Garden


I wish to pose a curious question. Are monkey familiars eligible to be voiced? My pet monkey Owain is highly intelligent able to decipher runes of unidentified objects. He is also capable of written communication and would act similar as a mute human. I believe the scribes of the Sublime Gardens could read his requests allowed if he was to obtain the status of voiced.  It is my calculation Owain can form more coherent arguments and assertations upon the assembly than the voiced Cyrille nor will he ever threatens legates behind closed doors. It is also my calculation that Owain will not commit any crimes and end up fed to the lions unlike thus far 3 voiced refugees.

I believe I have a very strong case for Owain to be voiced and will endeavor to purchase such for him. Owain very strongly wished me to remind you all that many people  were given voiced or had their voice purchased and thinks he should be no different to have such a right.

Animals are not protected by Ephias Well Code, nor are allowed to obtain Voices. That applies for all animal companions and familiars. Those, however, are considered property to their masters or owners. If you wish to request an exemption, this matter should be brought to an Assembly to be discussed by the sitting legates.
