Atreus Loukanis - The Jackal

My first PC played to conclusion this chapter. Atreus was a former slave soldier from the nation of Thay who found his freedom awakening among the ash storms. Having been liberated he vowed to himself that he would attain whatever he desired from the world, no matter the costs to anyone else.

His code was simple.

Take whatever your heart desires, tolerate no tyrants and stay true to those you call friend.



He began by seeking companions with whom he could share in his ambitions, among the Well there weren't many who Atreus could stomach let alone call friend. But he did manage to find a few who could share his vision, for lack of originality this group became known as 'The Five Companions' and sadly, wasn't meant to last.



Despite his crimes Atreus was stilla warrior, he took great pleasure in the thrill of battle, glory and praise that came with victory. Though outmatched he still managed to be crowned as Champion of the Games, beside his co-winner Marriet. Using the persona of champion as his public face to the rest of Ephia's Well.



To fuel his desires Atreus built a life as a criminal by the monicker of 'The Jackal', extorting a myriad of merchanting folk to pay their dues to the 'Friends of the Jackal'. Ophelia Whitmore was one of his first victims, and also the last.



Convicted as a murderer and thrown to the lions.

Atreus' life ended where it began for him, fighting in the sands of the arena for the entertainment of tyrants.

An awesome take on the brutal life of a gladiator.

"Heavyweight boxer turns to thuggery with Mob ties" is such a classic trope, and you managed to weave it perfectly into the politics and efforts of v6.
