Dear Aster,

I have written the poem for your competition. I am placing it alongside this letter. I asked around and was able to build a thorough profile of this Jocasta woman, so I decided to write about her. As a Fatespinner, it is essential that I also clarify this poem is a work of fiction and does not represent a potential future that will come to pass.

In the stillness of the night
Beneath the twinkling starry light
There came a sound, a horrid blight
That shattered all in its might

It was La Melificinta's voice
That made the heavens shake and rejoice
A droning, endless, shapeless noise
That seemed to end all, without a choice

From far-off galaxies to our own
The very stars began to groan
As Jocasta's tones did drone and moan
In a voice that chilled to the bone

May the Astronomers, with their learned eyes
Never fall for her false guise
And may the glazier's daughter realize
That her voice doth bring about the skies demise
