Tram Quest

As witnessed by DM Canzah, as you enter the second area of the quest- along the long stretch at the start of the second area there are two little alcoves for you to duck into the avoid the moving trams, the first one you encounter (that has a mushroom patch in) no matter where you stand if the tram comes pass it can still hit you despite being out of the path of the tram causing a gruesome death.

Ah yes, the Omnitram... bane of Scrappers everywhere.

I can confirm that this bug does happen. Reflex saves are extra based, though.

Aren't you warned at quest start that this is a possibility (being swept up by air pockets)? I always assumed this was part of the challenge. If not, then I can also verify this happens.

Sometimes the distance can be fairly large between the player and the trams and they still get crushed.  I don't think it's part of the challenge to not have a chance at all when those incidents occur.

As far as I'm aware, so long as you really push up against the wall you can avoid the Trams. Unfortunately this particular quest is definitely pushing the limits of what NWN was designed to do and you do have to be a bit further back than what is shown on the screen.... thus the somewhat feeble "air pocket sucking" IC explanation.

It definitely can still happen, even when you are rather far away.
