[hide=History, Optional]Arriving to a small parade through the peerage ward of Blackjacks and self-congratulations, a half naked and raving slave covered in scars and whip marks pronounced freed from the Ring 95 Swamps and brought through the streets.
After days and weeks of teaching, tutoring, reforming, and more by Sunpurse Retainers and their affiliates a new Retainer was raised among the House of the New Throne.
This relatively obscure figure after one move, then the next, suddenly was seen in the high profile negotiations between House Moonspear's Return, and even at the meeting of the Lords asked by the Count Zorono himself to declare his arrival.
A servile presence often hovering suspiciously around the circles of the Nobility, quickly winning the favor of many.
So much so even Dame Hale's vaunted investiture of the Lady's Bishop of the late Grand Vestry bestowed, that she once more free for courtship.
A strange little monastic like figure now in the uppermost echelon of Peerage High Society, spreading religious and otherwise influence...[/hide]

Shifting power has always drawn of strange alliance and unusual presences. Secret societies of masked figures, familial cadres of political influence, merchant cabal and twisted cult. The Peerage Ward is no different and even before the rise of the enigmatic Knaves of Ninety Nine societies such as the Brimstone Lodge, Anthrophilious Society, and more took root.  The Order of Saint Oriana mentioned only once publicly, at the investiture of the Bishop Akesh the Pure, was announced to be commencing efforts. No questions further were asked of such, no further inquiries from the crowd, and otherwise little more than rumor forthcoming. It can be seen and said though that since the arrival of this strange figure to the Ward there has been a parade of Sorcerers coming to and from the House of Sunpurse. Some deep Ring Runners, others Retainers of other Noble Lords, and some of... less civilized regions.

For the first time since House Nephezar's destruction an assembly of the queer magics of Sorcerey and Witchcraft taken to the fore. But where the Nephezar most loud and public of their intentions of the Golden City, The Order of Saint Oriana more private of affair. For better or worse there is little but vague flyer, passing mention, and hushed conversation of their endeavor.

A candle lit of Red Flame takes to the odd window of the Manor of House Sunpurse at all hours of the day or night and in the wake of its lightning come forth the varied. Some obscuring their identities with robe and hood while others more public of arrival. The queer and mystic arts of Sorcery and Witchcraft traffiking in the recesses of the seats of power.

There's been quite a bit of IG traffic on this one but with matters developing further a formal organization is being put together at last. The Order of Saint Oriana isn't a typical RwG plot in the wide shotgun blast of involvement of people and big bombastic agenda but a quieter push of a more nebulous nature focused solely on the Sorcerer class.

PCs interested in fleshing out the RP of the Sorcerer lifestyle be it perks or the varied histories, individuals seeking to find their way to place in the Peerage Ward, and a great many other traditional and bizarre avenues are available for IG actions. Among other things the focus is on a variety angles of intrigue, mystery, and likewise.
