Ward Prestige system

I think there is a misunderstanding or a false confidence that prestige points work like coins, you win them, you lose them, it is not a drama that is important and not to give up and move on.

The problem is that in my opinion this is absolutely not the case.

The groats are virtually infinite, every time the server resets you can do quests and from these quests receive money that fills your pockets, it can be a long operation but you always have the security that the coins can arrive if you find the right people to the right quest.

With prestige, on the other hand, there are 3 ways to get it
Prestigious items: which are mainly found in low-level missions and dispenceries, and in any case they offer very little

Darksull Quest: And we all know how little perstige and XP that quest gives

And with duels in the Arena of the Spinning groat.

Now, with the new bridge duel system it has been made that each person loses a TOT number of prestige points in a duel, points that you mainly get with duels in the  arena that you can't redo, so mainly you have very little chance to to gain prestige after you have lost it, there is no other option.

So I suggest adding new options where players can take prestige points, and let it be clear, I'm not doing it because I want to join the race for the 5th house (Which Zheng sure wins) but because if you already lose money during a robbery was a frustrating thing but at least you knew them that with commitment and time you could take back what you lost, with prestige instead the largest supply of prestige and disposable, that is the gladiators.

Werewolf heads plus a paltry 40 groats could give 10 prestige points for killing a vile beast

Killing Goblins and Kobolds players could be claimed with slight prestige points comparable to the destruction of nature in inhabited rings.

I ask you to reflect because at the moment prestige is an essential thing for the plot, it is extremely difficult to acquire, easy to lose, and even more difficult to regain.

1. A bit soon to already declare House Zheng the 5th Great House, don't you think?  Though it's understandable how one can live under that assumption by just looking at how many people hop onto the asia-hype train and how House Zheng apparently has a dozen clans serving under it while being a minor House.

2. You say groats are virtually infinite which is not correct. A dozen factors go into how much money your character makes. Professions, time you can invest, luck and not being FDd or robbed.

3. Minor House Retainers do not even get prestige from clearing out vegetation in the Rings.

4. You are focusing too much on the numbers at hand. I am 90% confident that the race for the Great House seat will not be resolved by someone actually acquiring 300.000 prestige points. That is an astronomically high number. And even then, DM Vlaid said that simply purchasing the book is not a guarantee. I think the fifth seat will rather be taken by the House that manages to either eliminate it's opposition (through subjugation, making deals or annihilation) or manages to "win" several DM events of high importance over the course of several months.

You did not get my point

I was not not talking of the minor houses but of the mayor ones, prestiges is what allow retainers of mayor houses to gain Veteran status and house Equipment, that in most cases is something you WANT to obtain and spend prestigius points on it, but if before there was no way you cpuld loose prestigie if not under DM gaze now there are duels who made you lose prestige.

and is rigth, you loose the duel you loose prestige, but i believe there will be a moment (and my actual char is facing it) that even if gainining all the cards of the arena and collecting stuffs and else will be EXTREMLY long reach the Prestige points require... a frustrating amaunt of extremly

Because as i sed there is no a way for regain Prestige once you lost it, what happen if someone wil all the arena figths and then loose all his prestige in duels? he is screwed.

This is because they are Legion

If you want prestige, do something prestigious.... I get we are in a state of flux at the moment but by the look of screenshots and sendings, everyone is just banding together for the sake of supplies, exp and coin, which is quite sad to see really. There is enough zheng, for example, to start bullying the other minor houses out of prestige.

Try something bold and be rewarded, smiley face.

That is exactly what is happening and is the reason why i'm making this, are you people reading?

I get defeated by a duel in the bridge and regain those 1k Prestige is a mess (If is even possible ),[hide] and Zheng are not bullin gthe minor house but a big one, and are preety open abaut it. [/hide]

im sure the whole thing will come to minor houses duking it out, and i highly doubt zheng is in anyway even at the frontrunner of the "prestige race"

im pretty sure you're not getting bullied but got challenged to a duel over actions your character committed, not zheng choosing to bully you over a minor house.

as for prestige, there's higher level quests aplenty that drop prestige items, dispensaries have items worth 500-1000 all the time. dm events and stuff involving peers usually end with a pay out for some kind of prestige. I've done none of these things btw, and managed to scrape up a decent amount thus far.

im sleepy

I can remember only one time of being awarded any prestige points after having played 1+ year of EfU. And I spent most of that time playing Peerage based characters.
