Water gardens sluice quest can crash NWN

We had someone crash out and die due to the sheer number of simultaneous Entangle effects sending his frame rate down to nothing.  Not everyone has a super modern computer to run a 15 year old game. Can we get fewer of these spells going off, it's causing real OC issues.
