Several potential bugs

Several bugs I have seem to have found during my travels, though I'm not certain if they are bugs truly.

1. The goblin bracers with hold person did not work when used on a hostile pc.

2. The quivering growth item from gardening quest summoned a hostile creature which then attacked me.

3. Saves with regards to vs fear not being appropriately calculated, for some reason I failed fear saves several times due to my saves being miscalculated somehow ( natural 5 + 2 from items coming up as just 5).

Few key details are missing. Pay attention to situation and details when making reports.

1.) How did they not work? Did the target make the DC? Did the spell not work at all, can you not use the spell? We cannot make anything out of simple "Did not work"

2.) Not a bug if it's what I am thinking

3.) What fear was in question? Spell, item, something else? Details once more. What is the item in question, is it explicitly saving throws vs fear, or what?

There was no roll at all, and the target was hostile.

and with the fear it was a fear aura which I think is natural? Radiating from a troll hag and yes the item was explicitly + vs fear

Spell still worked? Please, be precise.

You were able to use the hold spell, target simply did not do a save? Was it hold person, monster, or what? Did it give a message of target being immune, perhaps?

I used the item with Hold Person and targeted the hostile creature and the item disappeared and nothing seemingly occurred at all, not even a save.

Having used those goblin bracers before on a PC I can say with full confidence that they have been working. The Marauder can attest to their hin trickster getting a Watcher beating because of them.
