Hi,

Bringing up this sword for discussion because ultimately I think it's a tad underwhelming. For those who aren't familiar, to use the sword you require both the gauntlets and the sword itself, shown below:

The weapon and gauntlets together are both considerably rare items, to have them both is obviously even harder.  The problem is this weapon is rather meager compared to existing greatswords that are both much easier to find and require a lot less investment. Here are my main grovels:

-  To use this sword you MUST use the gloves, you aren't allowed to swap out to any other item, making an other +1 Deflection item you have completely redundant and also any other pairs of gloves ununsable.
- The damage is about on par, if not worse than some other swords. Admittedly, most come with penalties this sword doesn't, but overall they perform better.

Personally I would like to see the weapon readjusted to be a bit more interesting. Not saying it should reign supreme over every other sword but requiring two rare(ish) items should make your investment worth it.

Thoughts are welcome!

Sem

This sword provides a good deal of efficiency in giving you magic weapon and ultravision per day, and while that may appear underwhelming it is always immensely beneficial to have self-reliance as a non-caster.

That said...

-having 2 casts of magic weapon per day would be nice as one cast only lasts 10 minutes
-Increasing the Caster level of Ultravision to 6 would give it a long enough uptime to use at the end of every rest.

Crow

Pretty minor issue with the items but I'd also recommend a text color that's a bit brighter. It's pretty close to being unreadable on my screen and the name, or what appears to be a complete lack thereof at first glance, always throws me when I hover over it.

Grouch

I would change its bonus damage to bludgeoning or piercing because the +1 slashing damage doesn't stack with magic weapon, which it also has.

That would make the sword much better without changing much.
Things will never be the same (I've applied too much ketchup to this hamburger)

Its an old cops trick

Give it 1d4 mass crits and it's good.
