Healing Herbs and Stabalization Death

I wasn't sure if it was a bug, a feature, or otherwise but a problem was recently encountered on a less than lucky trip to Shaggaland.

If you're damaged, mend yourself with herbs, and while you are regnerating if you're knocked into negatives you will continue to regenerate health but it will turn into a kind of amusing daisy chain loop.

You can sit at -4 HP, the go -1 Hp, +1 HP, -1 Hp, +1 HP, etc. Until the herb duration is concluded and you'll then resume bleeding out.

Having additional "Chances" for a stabilization check is nice, but other times I've seen herbs used on bleeding out PCs it stabilizes them.

Is there any way that herb regen can be tweaked to offer stabalization as it's already healing you and herbs have been successfully used on your PC? Or is that not desirable?

I say keep as a feature to represent the difficulty involved with stabilizing someone in a world without magic. Or rather a person that has chosen to walk the path of an Ascetic/Red Star Disciple....
