I know it's low priority i'm sure but it would be awesome if more NPCs had dialogue interactions like the scholars in the HOK

- NPCs in the Grotto talking of monsters or past heroes and villains.
- Traders talking of relics from set pieces, old wonderous loot of PCs, etc.
- NPCs in the HOG talking about political history- Housing Vault NPCs talking of woes and worries
- Lower NPCs talking of past legends

Just something to make the world feel a bit more lively when exploring.

I love how the NPCs talk at the HoK. But please dont have this happen in the Grotto. Nothing ruins RP than with some random npcs yapping on about the prices on ale, or something. Other than that it is a cool idea.

Ambience in the Grotto can be covered with sound triggers if it's too distracting. The projections that show up (do they still show up..?) In the house of trade and Starags rest are as nice as the House of Knowledge, so there are some similar scripts in place already.

A lot of random NPCs have one-line dialogue, when they're set to walk randomly, they will go around and appear to talk and interact with other people, but you don't necessarily want scripts constantly running in the background so...

Perhaps they could spout dialogue as a result of an OnPerception trigger that calls a random choice from their conversation dialogue, with a limited percent chance they will do so and a randomised DelayCommand integer for how long after perceiving someone nearby it will take before they will say something? If the script checked the creature tag or an integer set on the creature to determine from what conversation list they called from, then you can condense all the random people dialogue into one (larger) script that filters out the non-applicable options.

As long as they don't say ''I have nothing to say."
