Lucy the Seamstress: adding Perform bonus to custom-made clothes is broken

I recently used the service at Seamstress Lucy to enhance (add magical properties to) a custom-made clothes that I had created and bought there. Normally I have no troubles with this function; I recently used Lucy to add some diplomacy bonuses to other clothes. But in this case I added the Perform enhancements to a piece of clothing, but when I took out the clothes from the enhancement table, it had no improvements on it. And Seamstress Lucy considers it to already be enhanced so she can't do anymore with it (except to add saving throw bonuses).

The custom-enhanced clothes in question were never dyed or modified after their original creation.
