What an absolute riot! I think this has been my best PC so far, and what a joy to play it was.

Gerrard was very much a 'wing it as I go' PC, and I think it showed quite clearly. His erratic, bizarre behaviour may have seemed strange and inconsistent to others, but I was having a blast every time I pulled some plot twist for the sake of it.

He was my first character to reach level 10, which is a nice milestone to reach before EFUR closes.

No DM loot to show off, I'm afraid, but here are some cool screenshots, in no particular order.

Definitely your best.  Never afraid to make a dangerous decision that made the server a much more interesting place.

Bearic

Great twists and turns were had! His testament served as an ironic continuation of his works.

We never got to interact much, and despite planning to screech at him ICly for being an absolute nutter. . . Vaughan was freakin' cool.

RIP Twin-Mind, cuckolded too soon </3

Really enjoyed coming back to EFU  to immediately interact with Vaughan and all his glorious LORDLINESS. Isolde and Vaughan had some pretty great interactions in private. It's a real shame you got busy and our times stopped matching up.

Thanks for that posthumous plot twist, by the way...

Where do I even begin? Gerrard Vaughan was one of the early reasons I got hooked (as you know, really hooked) on EfU:R -- despite barely even RPing or interacting with him! He was one of those PCs who are played so well even when just ambiently present, that they become larger-than-life figures that you are curious or fearful about. They become part of the tapestry of the setting, reminding you that you're on a server that attracts serious RP talent, and they tantalize you with the prospect of how much great RP you would be having if you just had any reason to be near them ... Vaughan was a PC that seemed, by the time I started playing, to ICly already be "past his prime", someone who people had a lot of stories about but who seemed to be somehow on a downward trajectory in spite of himself, which just made him more interesting. It was great to see someone play a non-good-aligned (??) Knight and play it well and believably. Knights are an interesting type of PC to me and it's always a pleasure to see them done properly, especially when they are in the kinds of bizarre position that Vaughan seemed to find himself in ... so, particularly well done on that particular aspect.

With one of my humble alts I was able to catch glimpses of Gerrard in political intrigue mode, along with Tjanefer Padisma, that showed me just how incredibly good RPers both Hound and Stranger are. The tension and dynamic between Gerrard and Padisma overall were great, in their various stages. Those were times that made me in love with EfU:R. I, OOCly, also had a major crush on Gerrard and was very disappointed when he turned into a loathsome tentacle freak. >__> Also, let's never forget that Gerrard was cuckolded by a little girl, the ultimate humiliation; but that's what you get for choosing tentacles over your hot Zakharan wife.

It's funny how much I enjoyed Gerrard despite having so few interactions I can count them on one (admittedly aberrant) hand. Barely any at all until the very end -- when it, just, well, escalated really damn quickly.

Thank you for making my EfU:R experience that much better, congrats on a well-made PC, I look forward to seeing what you do next!

PS, kudos for managing to entertain even from beyond the grave. The revelation that he gave everything to Isolde in his will was ... pretty great in the moment.
The princes applaud with a furious joy;
And the king seiz'd the flambeau, with zeal to destroy.
