Balance Necro corpses

Skeleton Warriors are by far the strongest, with fast movement, good damage/ab and super high AC. They can literally solo most quests.


Can skeleton warriors be nerfed a bit, and buffs be given to ghouls, etc? So we have a more balance of animations.


Also, it'd be cool if more corpses in general could be added to the server.

necromancy is a powerful forbidden art thing so idk about nerfing mr skeletal. it seemed balanced when you get into midrange quests

Skeleton Warriors also have expertise. They are the best to use by far due to being easier to find + from perks. Plus they come equipped with a sword and shield ready to go.


Skeleton Archers are OK but have a bug where they unequip their bow and start using fists. Sometimes you are able to get them to use another melee weapon.


Zombies are super weak in comparison because they have no AC and are painfully slow. Plus they have a bug where they will stop all actions as they approach the enemy. So with slow speed + stop bug they don't even make it to the target before the skeleton warriors kill it.


Being a necromancer is extremely powerful but balanced by being hunted or hated, hard to find people to quest with. So don't necessarily need to nerf them. But rebalancing so there is more diversity of use?

The skeletons do have some glaring weaknesses.
I agree that the other forms of undead could really use a boost.
Well. Specifically ghouls.
Man, ghouls really need a boost.
So badly.

I somewhat agree.

Skeletons have their place, but I don't think they're objectively the *best.* I think that title belongs to Undead Orcs, for very different reasons. Skeletons are really good AC tanks, but they're balanced by the fact that anything that can deal damage to them without some sort of roll is probably gonna kill them.

On the other hand, 100% agree that other summons like ghouls and zombies (but especially ghouls) could do with some love. One of the Sorcerer perks, Carrion Feaster, is objectively bad because of how terrible ghouls are.

Skeletons are well balanced with weaknesses I won't mention here.

OnHit Ghoul Touch for the ghouls would be nice balancer. Or just maybe more hp/ac or dmg.


Not having a weapon makes them a lot worst then skeletal warriors or even zombies. You cant MW/GMW/Keen them and flame weapon doesnt work on every hit.

The Ghouls are a replacement (and I'd argue upgrade) over the standard corpseless raise dead, in this regard they serve well. They aren't meant to be a replacement for all undead summons, and they shouldn't be.

That being said, if the raised ghouls from the Carrion Feaster perk don't have the stun on bite attack then I believe it would be a welcome change to add to them.
