Gentlemen of the Empire

Evron Friedman was born just over a year ago in a fleshy pod somewhere in the Sanctuary Public Housing Vaults. Convinced that he could cure the evils hidden away in people's hearts, his story began in an insane asylum under the care of an enigmatic 'Doctor'. But was Friedman a Doctor, or was he a patient?

The collective inmates of the Asylum were sucked up into a blender and 'birthed' into Sanctuary, armed with a question of philosophy and a good deal of existential terror. After arriving in Sanctuary he took on all manner of unusual patients:

However, in spite of falling in with the odd bad crowd or two. I attempted to play a Doctor who stuck by a very rigid moral code:

I was really happy when you brought the Doctor back out of retirement. His view about the nature of evil as something to be pitied and cured was very unique and gave him a very fun perspective. It was enjoyable seeing a man with such overflowing and often unfounded empathy, taking a medical interest in those far beyond what most would consider to be worth saving. I think it made him really stand out, and I am going to miss our discussions about the nature of evil.

And then he got eaten by a big spider! I don't think they cover that in pod man medical school...

I miss the old back and forth bedates he and Alethia had, especially while tackling the question about utopias and gatekeepers. Saved her more than a few times, and while the pair often disagreed, they both understood that they each wished for a better world for them both. Was very sad to see him appear next to her in the fugue
