Understand that I am not a DM and that I do not speak for the EFU staff.

But I am bewildered by this post and most of the allegations within. If vhunelar's character was sexually violated amid some mindless carnival of violence, that is a grave offense that merits a permanent ban for the perpetrator—should that not have happened already. Players are meant to remain within tasteful boundaries. "Normal" torture, even, should be handled with a degree of delicacy and concern for the sensibilities of whoever we are interacting with.

I am very familiar with the server team. I cannot imagine any of them claiming that she is "out of control" or being dismissive of such a serious infraction; that's just not how they address players. These are emotionally stable adults who have cultivated this community for over a decade. ShadowCharlatan and Howlando are perhaps the nicest, most insightful, and most accommodating people you'll ever meet, for example.

I strongly suspect that you and vhunelar did not use the "proper channels" in the first place. There should be a private discussion ticket on the forum for the entire team to see. I wholeheartedly believe that every DM on the server would immediately swarm over such a thing like the wrath of god, to deal with whoever has done what you claim to've seen—all the more furiously because it was done to a new player.

Please bring forward these "logs and screenshots" immediately so that something can actually be done about the behavior you have discussed.

And if you truly, adamantly believe that the DMs are ignoring you, I still urge you to stop dancing around the issue. Just say who did what. Show the proof here. Right now, all I can see is the toothless tantrum of someone whose friend was banned for her own misbehavior. (Logging out from PvP, making a "troll" sending, etc.) If your cause is righteous, however, all you need to do is show the damning evidence you claim to have.

Perhaps we could join you in your outrage then. Perhaps if you showed us vhunelar's perspective, as you seem to see it?

As it stands, you're not going to start any witch hunts with a few incoherent, angry words.

This isn't the appropriate place to post such a thread, but I guess I'll allow it for now in the interests of full disclosure as I'm not sure your characterization of what has happened matches reality. Feel free to reach out to me privately in forum PMs or IRC to either discuss this in more detail or go over any future issues.

First of all - Happy New Years! You sound upset, that is a shame. I suggest you take a moment to take a breather because I think this is largely just a misunderstanding.

ERP is indeed completely forbidden on this server. If there has been any incident of ERP or forced sexual situations then please make me aware of that immediately so we can remove the offending player. You indicate that your friend has followed the proper channels; however I see no reports of any of this - your friend did send one private PM to a single DM less than 24 hours ago (AFAIK). There was no mention of ERP, there was mention of being frustrated over losing PvP repeatedly - this did get our attention, as we don't want new players to feel frustrated by constantly getting beat up in EFU. There's a post about it in our private forums, sometimes it takes a few days (especially at this time of year!) for issues to circulate through the staff so they can be resolved. I'm not up to speed on the details, but usually when a new player is losing a lot of PvP it's because they need to adjust their play-style (and less likely that they are just being bullied).

As far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong), your friend's character was attacked and subdued for animating skeletons in the Crossroads area. Now I understand this may seem harsh or different than how other servers do things, but it is important to understand that in EFU we have designed necromancy as being somewhat more powerful with a balancing factor being that it is the sort of thing that can get you killed. While you may disagree with this design decision, please understand that in EFU if you animate the dead you are inviting PvP upon yourself. Indeed, from the perspective of myself and probably most of our players, being a necromancer is fun PRECISELY because of the real and present danger that such wicked acts might get you in trouble! If you don't want to engage in PvP, then it is important to stick to different kinds of character concepts.

As for whether the incident had something to do with ERP, I see no evidence of that.

Here are the screenshots. Judge for yourself.

If there is some context I am missing, please let me know ASAP so we can investigate more thoroughly. Handling someone's backpack roughly to take  some gold is not against the rules.

Logging out from the PvP is one thing, but I believe the (temporary) ban was imposed because of the pseudo-OOC/inappropriate sendings/posts after the event that seemed to be coming from a place of OOC frustration.

When something like this happens, and no DM is on hand to handle the issue immediately, we often impose a (temporary) ban to force a player to come talk to us about their issues either on IRC or on the forums so we can figure out what's going on. If your friend would like to return to EFU, all Vhunelar needs to do is have a conversation with a DM so we can address any concerns/explain server norms.

Of course, it may well be that EFU is a bad fit for you guys. I certainly can understand that. But it is by no means true that there is a "hell of a lot of sinfar level shit goin on in the dark corners" and if that is the issue then really this is just some kind of misunderstanding.

(No more comments from the peanut-gallery please; not interested in any kind of OOC drama over what I imagine is some kind of misunderstanding or miscommunication)
