House Blackoak has been born of an entirely unplanned series of IC events that have lead to a lot of round about activities and pursuits.

My PC was not created with the intent of this happening but after IC events and PC influence things lead us here so now I'd like to formally begin recruitment. So far recruitment isn't something that has been done OOCly but as we're picking up steam and a few niche positions have popped up I wanted to extend the opportunity for anyone looking for concepts.

The above link is a public posting looking for people to fit roles. So far House Blackoak has been shaped by a diverse group of individuals whispering in the ear of the Beggar Lord and each interaction has lead to more shifts and changes as what began as a two man operation. Another PC insisted on pursuit of nobilty and that one snowball has rolled and rolled.

The House colors were chosen by PC actions, the House tenants were chosen by PC actions, and it's been really fun seeing a "Blank Slate of Nobility" get filled in by the EFU playerbase.

There's plenty of people outside the House who have shaped things (The House Colors, Counsel from priests, etc etc) but moving forward I just wanted to show that recruitment possibility is very real for a lot of different variety of roles.

Class: Non Druid, Barbarians or Sorcerors may have difficulty if they are of the Loincothe variety.
Alignment: Non-good preferred but Good guys can get in on the fun too
Race: At this point there's been no influence one way or another, so presently all races are welcomed.

With the shift away from the House of Knowledge, archaeological and other pursuits are still fully welcomed since some members of the House are looking to rise to prominence taking over the House of Knowledge but there's also some extended opportunity with the House of Trade now being under the purview of House Blackoak.

PC Merchants, crafters, abbathoran or waukeenites, smugglers, treasure hunters, caravaners, adventurers, body guards, and much more are all very real and feasible concepts now.

Also "The Oak Grove" could use some entertainers, managers, high-class gambling games, and other possibilities for PC activities.

With the hop to the Sanctuary Stadium it's GAME TIME.

Any PCs are welcome to reach out with interest to either get involved in the Great Game, spice things up with gladiatorial combat, seek to sponsor events, or other pursuits.

Drill-Sergeant style PCs and would be gladiatorial champions, gambling addicts and bet-makers since I can't do everything at once, bombastic bards to play Host and draw in the crowds, warriors and wizards and rogues to set traps and obstacles or more!

With the expansion of the House we've taken matters to the soggy swells of the Canal Ward.

Pirates, corsairs, fishermen, whaling spear-hunters interested in pursuing the Lake Beast of the Dark Lake, Priests of Water-Faiths or Ghaunadaur, Smugglers, criminals, Diplomats and Trade-Route organizers, Dwarven PCs with an interest in potential Varad-Azuul ties, leg-breakers and tax collectors, and other shady 'Dock' type PCs are welcomed.
