Just wanted to say hi, been out of NWN RP for a few years but excited to get back in it and experience the world with everyone.

Quick question, I downloaded the launcher and everything seems to be humming along. Are there any other recommended overrides, or is everything generally necessary included in the launcher?

As far as I know all necessary ones are included. I would however recommend Diz-e's excellent override pack.

I've recently joined the forums and have begun to try and have a more active role in events in Sanctuary. Currently playing the gruff and brash ex-bounty hunter Corvath Certamine. I currently play Shosi Steelbeard. A forgetful older dwarf.fighter, forgotten so much, the nightmares seem to suggest what he lost or is afraid to remember.
Been a few years since I played NWN, So relearning the basics.

Was introduced to the dwarf faction, unsure if that is a gm application to join. Seems I have to meet a character called Vulkan.

On IRC I use vortigon7.

I am completely new to NWN role-playing. I had the game since it came out but as English is not my first language, and I wasn't that interested either, I never tried multiplayer for most of my NWN time. I met a friend IRL who introduced me to PnP role-playing (we played only a very few sessions, though) and I instantly thought of NWN and decided to give multiplayer a go. I did join Amia two or three years ago but never got the hang of it, and I quit NWN altogether. Then somehow I found EFU, and I love its concept so (after some problem-solving with the help of others on IRC) I created my first character.

My character is Alkor Daoin, a moon elf who was quite the hedonistic rogue before the darkness fell. To be honest I wanted to play in a very informal, taverns-are-my-favourite-place style, but because of me being stupid and not being able to solve the problem of the game not letting me to level up (your character has too many perks - a relogin solved this), I put a level in wizard, which, I guess changed how the character should and will be played out.

Yesterday I played for about four hours and I just love it so far. Really looking forward to this.

Rogues in EFU have had Evasion moved to level 5 instead of level 2. This error was likely a result of you having outdated files for the server. I would recommend clearing your hak and override folders and rerunning the launcher if you'd like to play a pure rogue.
